9/11 5K Honoring Student Heroes

WHAT IS IT?
We’re teaming up with JMU Valor to honor student heroes at a brand new 5K through campus on Sunday, September 11th at 9am. There’s a lot of good stuff packed into one event, so check it out:
– Unified campus & community effort
– Supporting student veterans & first responders
– Commemorating heroes & lives lost on 9.11.01
Every participant receives a race t-shirt (if signed up before September 2nd). The 5K is chip timed and utilizes a scenic route on east campus. Runners and walkers of all skill levels welcome.
Date: Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 9am
Location: James Madison University East Campus
Registration Prices: Non-student: $30. JMU Student & child 17 and under: $15.

August 9 – August 14: Registration launch ($5 off all registrations)
Sign up by Friday, September 2nd to receive a t-shirt with registration
Sign up by Friday, September 9 to get the pre-registration price
Packet pickup: Sunday, September 11 from 7-8:45am next to the start/finish line
