Civil War Quilts with Bunnie Jordan

Join Bunnie Jordan for a talk about Civil War quilts at the Virginia Quilt Museum. This tragic part of American history continues to fascinate. Learn what kinds of quilts were made during this time and how quilt making was affected by the war. Examples from the museum and from private collections will be shown in addition to a presentation.
Bunnie Jordan is a quiltmaker, and also a quilt appraiser, author, collector, curator, and student and teacher of quilt history. She is a member of several local and national quilt groups and has served on the board of directors of the American Quilt Study Group and the Virginia Quit Museum. Bunnie is a contributing author to the books; Quilters Hall of Fame, The Quilts of Virginia, and Southern Quilts. Her own quilts have been published in several magazines and books and is in both private and corporate collections.
