Disability Awareness/Acceptance Rally

Pleasant View’s Developmental Disability Awareness Rally
Tuesday, March 14, 2023 Starting at 12:30pm

Pleasant View Inc. will hold a Disability Awareness and Acceptance Rally Tuesday, March 14, 2023 on the east lawn of the Rockingham County Court House starting at 12:30pm. We invite community members to join together with us to recognize and celebrate individuals who have developmental disabilities living in our community. We will celebrate the wonderful ways people who have disabilities enrich our communities, discuss the ongoing challenges we face, and encourage the community to work with us to make our community more accessible to all.

Our speakers include Executive Director Kevin Paluszak, Watkins Parrish (Harrisonburg Aktion Club President), Dennis Sampson, Elliot Reedy, and more. An open microphone will be available to the public in attendance after the scheduled speakers.
