Have you always wanted to shop at the farmers market, but are not sure where to start? Want an easy and locally-sourced meal to add to your repertoire? Join us for an interactive cooking demo hosted by Sarah Levine McClelland of Wingredients and learn how to make a seasonal meal with ingredients found in-season at the Harrisonburg Farmers Market at this Taste of Downtown Restaurant Month workshop!
As a participant, you will start at the third floor of the Explore More Museum to watch and interact with the cooking demonstration in the demo kitchen, tasting the meal as you go along.
After the demo, walk with us to the Harrisonburg Farmers Market and meet some of the vendors used in the demo meal. You can also shop for ingredients to make the meal yourself at home! All guests will leave with a recipe card and ingredient list.
