From the producers who brought you “Hulklahoma!” and “My Dinner With Andre on Ice” comes the original Radio Play, “Help! My Baby’s a Rat!”
“Help! My Baby’s a Rat!” is a radio-comedy about a couple whose newborn suddenly turns into a gigantic rat. This surreal sitcom spoof follows Willy and Agnes as they try to help their son by appealing to the government, the public, and even products they see on TV. The play is interrupted and ultimately railroaded by commercial parodies that smash through load bearing fourth walls.
This is a Radio-Play, which means that the bulk of the experience is audio only! You can find it online wherever you listen to podcasts, but to celebrate its premiere, we’re playing it live, accompanied by an on-stage visual element performed by local legend Nevin Zehr. If you’re looking for a new kind of comedy experience, look no further!
This production was written and produced by two Rocktown writers and features local actors and community members. It’s an organic, gluten free experience guaranteed to make you laugh!
