Language of Love Sculpture Installation Celebration
May 25 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pmFree
Located by the Turner Pavilion behind the Arts Council’s Smith House Galleries and designed for community members to play and interact with, Language of Love celebrates what local students and their families shared with the artist about what they love about Harrisonburg and value about living in the Friendly City – from the natural beauty surrounding our Valley town to our welcoming spirit and inclusivity.
We invite you to participate in the unveiling of the sculpture’s sign and to enjoy light refreshments while interacting with the sculpture and celebrating this amenity. Bring your kids! Hear from the artist about his vision behind this work of art and how he built it and join us as we thank the many volunteers and supporters who made this possible.
Since the event will be outdoors, please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 26th at 4 pm for our rain date. Those who rsvp via Eventbrite to this event will receive an email update should weather postpone our plans. FREE!
