Join the Wildlife Center of Virginia and author Christy Gove for a very special book tour stop!
Christy Gove, author of Bailey the Black Bear Needs Help!, will be coming to Virginia October 26-28 for a book tour. This children’s book is a true story of rescue and rehabilitation, featuring a former patient who was treated at the Wildlife Center of Virginia in 2016. This is Christy’s third book in conjunction with the Wildlife Center; other books feature true stories of animals at the Center, including Greta the Great Horned Owl and Maggie the One-Eyed Peregrine Falcon.
Join us as Christy reads Bailey the Bear Needs Help!, and meet an education animal from the Wildlife Center! Books will be available for purchase and Christy will be available to sign books. Please note that this program will take place outside, weather permitting.
