Celebrating Agriculture

It is National Agriculture Week! The Dayton Market will be hosting a celebration that includes thank you notes to our farmers from our local school children, activities and more!

o Touch-A-Tractor 11am – 2pm Tractors from Rockingham New Holland will be on site to explore and take some memorable photos!
o Grampy’s Petting Zoo 11am – 3pm Visit with various farm animals adults and babies!
o Thank a Farmer – Elementary & Middle Schools are filling out thank you notes that will be posted around the market with messages from the students.
o Scavenger Hunt – participants will stop by Rusty Willow Decor to obtain their form and pencil. Once completed, turn into Kaffee Klatsch for a free scoop of ice cream.
o Children’s Make & Take Planting @ Landscapes In Miniature School aged children are invited to visit Landscape’s in Miniature shop and come play in the dirt.
o Facepainting & Glitter Tattoos 1pm – 4pm
o Eddie the Magician!
