Celebrating Agriculture

Join us Saturday, March 25th to Celebrate Agriculture! Fun activities for the entire family–
Touch-a-Tractor (9a.m – 12 p.m) Rockingham New Holland tractors will be on site for pictures and exploring
Kiss-a-Cow (1 p.m) Jars will be set out around the market (starting March 15th) for donations towards the ag fund of Rockingham County (dedicated to helping Rockingham County ag students be able to attend national ag FFA conventions) Place your donation in the jar of the person you want to see kiss the cow! (nominations to be announced!)
Live farm animals (10 a.m-2 p.m) Calves, pigs and goats will be here (pending the weather)
Scavenger hunt (all day) Stop by Whiskey Valley Jerky to grab a scavenger hunt. Once it is completed, turn it into The Kaffee Klatsch for a free scoop of ice cream
Coloring pages- (all day) Take home a picture to color
Thank-a-Farmer (all day) Leave a Thank You note to a farmer, they will be posted around the market to share with our local community
Dress like a farmer (all day) Dress like a farmer and stop by The Cheese Place for gummi farm animals OR farmers cheese
