EMU MUSIC DEPARTMENT’S ANNUAL GALA CONCERT: TOGETHER

A special evening celebrating the connectedness of community and humanity across the globe. The concert will feature dance, poetry, jazz, world music, the world premiere of a new interdisciplinary composition The World Has Changed by composer Zachary Wadsworth, the world premiere of a world jazz fusion composition Amahoro Suite by Makinto, and one of the most beloved and influential musical masterworks of all time, Beethoven’s Ode to Joy movement from his 9th symphony.

Featuring special guests, Makinto, Paula Facci, and Andrea Bellamore. Also featuring performances of the EMU University Choir, EMU Chamber Orchestra, EMU Wind Ensemble, EMU Jazz, and Chamber Singers.
