The Museum officially opened for play on October 14, 2003. After 20 years… we are ready to celebrate BIG! The fun will take place both in and outside the Museum.
From balloon animals, face painting, and guest entertainers to games, hands-on activity stations, and refreshments, there will be something for everyone. Full Schedule of Events HERE.
And, don’t miss the Keva Building Challenge! Ken Scheel, Keva block inventor, will attempt to build a structure 2 stories high. At 1:45, we’ll have a birthday build it, bash it countdown and you can watch all of the blocks tumble to the ground!
It’s a Day OF PLAY! Did you know that the City of Harrisonburg has declared October 14, 2023 an official Day of Play? Yep, and Explore More’s got you covered!
Reminder: If you have been filling out a Celebration Saturday passport card and collected 5 or more stamps, bring it with you and we’ll give you a gift at the October 14 birthday celebration.
