First Friday Art Gallery With Viktoriya Samoylov

This November, Viktoriya Samoylov’s gallery will be based on her father’s photographs and slides while living in rural Ukraine, and through a new immigrant life in the United States .

Viktoriya Samoylov was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the United States when she was a young child. She currently lives in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, where she works as a graphic designer and paints impressionist-inspired strokes. Generally working in acrylic, she focuses on figurative works. Eternally fascinated by the reflections of sun and shadows, her pieces gravitate towards nostalgic and thoughtful moods.
