Flowering Arranging: Galentine’s Bouquet

Join Gardening Connection and Bluestone Vineyard for a fun, creative workshop where attendees will learn the principles of good design for flowers using a simple vase. Each attendee will leave the workshop with a unique, handmade arrangement to enjoy or give as a gift.
Vase shape, the water, additives, preparing flower stems, selecting flowers, arranging and caring for the arrangement will be covered. Container, stems, and instructions are included. There will be a variety of beautiful, fresh flowers and greens for the arrangement and no red roses. As a bonus the historical meaning behind certain flowers will be covered and you will learn how to take a bunch of flowers from the grocery store and make them truly special.
Cost: $55 per person including a glass of Bluestone Vineyard wine
