Snapology teaches STEAM concepts to children through hands-on, interactive play, using LEGO® bricks and other fun tools. Our programs are designed to promote teamwork, inspire creativity, and gain confidence in STEAM, while not even realizing it’s educational!
For this Parent’s Night Out workshop, students will engage in lessons from our Brick Art and Design Lab program. They will learn about different types of art and the periods they were created, interpret what they see and create their own works of art using LEGO® bricks. This workshop will focus on Van Gogh’s whimsical landscape paintings and creating our own landscapes with LEGO® bricks and also watercolors. Then students will use engineering kits & LEGO® bricks to build a spin art machine to create their own take-home mechanical art. We will serve a PIZZA dinner with fruit.
This Parent’s Night Out is a partnership with Silk Moth Stage and adults may purchase tickets to watch an outdoor performance of “Wonder of Our Stage” while their kids are playing at Snapology. Silk Moth Stage tickets, including dinners, can be bought at: https://silk-moth-stage.company.site/
This Parent’s Night Out is ALSO available to anyone interested in enrolling their children and having a night out!
