Starkbierfest

During the season of Lent, many people fast in different ways. For the the Paulaner monks of Munich, this meant brewing a “stark”, or strong beer, full of nutrients to consume as “liquid bread”.
Starkbierfest is an annual celebration of this tradition! Much like its fall cousin, Oktoberfest, it is a time to come together to enjoy locally crafted beers!
For our forth annual Starkbierfest, we will both observe the German and American craft beer brewing process with a stacked tap list of delicious, strong beer.
