Start Skeleton Fest early with FREE Trick-or-Treating on Liberty and Mason Street during this pre-festival promotion starting at 1 PM! The first 30 trick-or-treaters at each participating location on Mason and Liberty Street in Downtown Harrisonburg will get a treat bag filled with toys, candy and possibly $10 Downtown Dollars inside!
Saturday, October 7 is the spookiest day of the year in Downtown Harrisonburg with HDR’s annual fall festival – Skeleton Fest. Give your family plenty of time to pick up candy before the costume contest begins on Court Square by starting your trick-or-treat adventure on Liberty & Mason Street businesses.
Trick-or-treating will continue until 5 PM with other participating businesses giving out candy starting at 2 PM. There are over 40 businesses handing out candy this year, check out skeletonfestival.com (coming soon) for a candy map or grab one at the HDR info booth at Court Square.
