HOST KYLE REMNANT – Bridgewater, VA

Jack of all trades, master of trombone, Kyle began standup comedy in 2019 to reduce stress during grad school. This past summer Kyle hosted the X2 Basement Comics show at the second annual Cave Comedy Fest in Melrose Caverns. He was the winner of the 2022 Comedy Pageant FUNdraiser at Court Square Theater, and returned this year as one of the judges for this year’s fundraiser rebranded as “Laugh for the Arts” Competition.

TRAVIS VALLE – Harrisonburg, VA

Travis is originally from Northern VA, now living in Harrisonburg. He served in the Marine Corps for five years and started doing comedy upon his return to the DC area in 2015. After attending James Madison University, he stayed in Harrisonburg and currently hosts a monthly comedy open mic. Travis has a dark sense of humor but lightens up when talking about performing both music and comedy.

MARGIE CLEMENT – Broadway, VA
A retired teacher, Margie completed X2 Comedy’s Comedy Class performing stand up for the first time for a public audience in the June 2023 Graduation Showcase at Court Square Theater. She was a big hit bringing down the house with laughter! Since she has appeared on X2 Comedy shows in the area and is back at Court Square Theater for the December show!

LIGHTNING LUCAS – Harrisonburg, VA
Lightning Lucas has been writing songs since 2008, and now has over 300 to his name. In 2022 he took a X2 Comedy Class and fell in love with combining standup comedy with funny songs in a style similar to Adam Sandler or Bo Burnham.

CHRIS WOMACK – Rockingham, VA
Chris is a JMU professor who has performed several shows with X2 Comedy and others since 2021. In 2022 and 2023, he hosted and performed in the annual Cave Comedy Fest featuring X2 Comedy shows inside a cave! Recently, he won a comedy competition, COMIC GENIUS, filmed in Maryland which is now officially released and available to watch on the ol’ YouTubes;-)

DAWN DAVIS WOMACK – Rockingham, VA

Dawn took stand up comedy classes to face her fears of doing it! At their graduation showcase, she got hired to perform professionally for the first time in the DC Area. She’s performed from east to west coast since. She is the founder of X2 Comedy bringing comedy, comedy classes and the first cave comedy shows to the Valley! She launched and hosts Virginia is For Laughers, a podcast about all things non-hiking in the Shenandoah Valley;-) She opened for international touring comedian Lachlan Patterson in the first Cave Comedy Fest in 2022 and returned to perform inside the cave in 2023.
