MACROCK
MACROCK is an annual DIY music festival and conference located in Harrisonburg, VA. The mission is to enhance the Shenandoah Valley by showcasing a diverse array of independent musical acts from across the country to the residents of Harrisonburg and Rockingham, as well as provide educational and enriching community events celebrating Do-It-Yourself (DIY) culture.

Rocktown Beer & Music Festival
Every year, 3,000 people converge on Turner Pavilion & Park to attend the event (which often sells out in advance), celebrating good beer, good living, good music and a great community. Whether rain or shine, it’s always a mighty fine time. Rocktown Fest is a Spring event occurring each April.

Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival
The Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival is a week-long summer music festival devoted to promoting an appreciation and understanding of the music of Bach and a featured composer, country, era or people. The festival takes place on the campus of Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Friendly City Fourth
Downtown Harrisonburg is the best place to celebrate Independence Day! Visitors and locals alike join us year-after-year to enjoy live music, food trucks, unique kids’ activities, local craft beer, and, of course, the best fireworks display in the Valley.

Harrisonburg-Rockingham African American Cultural Festival
The Harrisonburg-Rockingham African-American Festival celebrates the rich heritage and diversity of our community. It is our wish to create unity, promote family and celebrate the accomplishments of African-Americans through our events and programs.

Sing Me High Music Festival
This festival celebrates music and faith in the Shenandoah Valley. The event is the perfect close to the summer season, and this year’s two-day event features music groups from the Shenandoah Valley and/or faith backgrounds, Old-fashioned hymn singing; children’s activities; local food trucks,  and more. The festival is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event.

Harrisonburg International Festival
The International Festival strives to celebrate the diversity of Harrisonburg and the surrounding communities by providing a friendly forum in which cultural groups can showcase their cultural and linguistic values as a means to educate the larger community and to support awareness for their presence and contribution.

First Night Harrisonburg
Ring in the New Year with thousands of your friends and neighbors at First Night Harrisonburg. Activities and performances will begin at 5:00 p.m. This event highlights the arts and brings the community together by transforming retail stores, churches, and downtown businesses into performance venues that showcase local and regional talents.

Central Virginia Blues Socitey Jams
All blues-lovers are welcome at their jams whether you are a musician or someone who appreciates listening to good music.  All ages and skill levels are welcome. Working to promote, preserve and advance the tradition of blues music throughout all of Central Virginia.
